Create fresh and delicious homemade tortillas and tacos in no time with the Avanti® Tortilla Press, designed to evenly press a ball of masa (specially ground cornmeal dough) into perfectly flat discs ready for cooking. Ideal for making tortillas from scratch as well as quesadillas, fajitas, enchiladas, and salad wraps, it helps you achieve consistent results with ease. Crafted from durable cast aluminium, this traditional-style press is sturdy and built to last, offering excellent leverage so a light press is all it takes to flatten dough into even 20 cm diameter discs. Easy to use and reliable, it’s a practical tool for authentic homemade cooking.

Use and Care:
* Place a rolled ball of dough in the centre of the press
* Place one square of parchment paper on the base plate, then add a golf ball-sized dough portion on top
* Cover the dough with a second square of parchment paper
* Lower the top plate onto the dough
* Firmly press down using the handle to flatten
* Lift and flip the tortilla by holding both sheets of parchment paper with the dough in between
* Press the tortilla a second time for a more even, extended shape
* Gently peel the tortilla away from the parchment paper
* The tortilla is now ready to cook
* To clean, wipe with a damp or dry cloth
* Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers
