Turkish coffee is prepared using a traditional method that involves brewing very finely ground coffee, where the grounds are left in the cup when served. The coffee is made by combining the finely powdered beans with water and, if desired, sugar in a special pot known as a cezve (or ibrik), then gently brought to the boil. As soon as the mixture begins to froth and before it overflows, it is removed from the heat and served immediately. The Avanti Turkish Coffee Pot features a practical pouring spout and a durable plastic handle for easy use. Please note that it is not suitable for induction cooktops. Alternatively, Turkish coffee pots can also be used to heat up and froth milk.
